THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES FOR OUR ACTIONS! by Earl Sutton

In 1996 a grain ship, “Bright Field,” was heading down the Mississippi River near New Orleans, when it lost control, veered toward the shore and crashed into a riverside shopping mall. The impact demolished parts of the wharf and injured 116 people. According to the Coast Guard investigation, the ship’s owner and crew had failed to repair long-standing engine problems. This is a clear example of not doing what you should do and receiving the consequences of bad decisions.

The Devil deceived Eve into thinking that there would be no consequences for eating the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:1-7). God said, “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ye shall not eat of it lest ye die” (v.3) The Devil said, “Ye shall not surely die.” (v.4) Eve dilly-dallied with the temptation and contemplated the possibilities that the Devil had suggested and threw away all restrain and ate the fruit!  Why?  The Devil deceived her into thinking that there would be no consequences for sin.

The Devil continues to lie to us today and tells our society that a little sin won’t hurt, a little indulgence is not a problem, a little transgression will never hurt anybody! The Devil tells us that we are only human and go ahead and enjoy sin. The Bible says, “The way of the transgressor is hard.” ( Prov. 13:15)

Our society believes that it can live in disobedience to God’s will by practicing homosexuality and never suffer the consequences. The scriptures teach that there will be consequences for our actions. “Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth unto his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth unto the spirit shall of the spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal. 6:7-8) This basic principle applies to the physical world and spiritual realm as well. The word, “mocked” is a Greek word (mukterizete:) which means to turn one’s nose up at God. The point is that if a person sows to the flesh (homosexuality and sinful living) and turns up his nose at God, he shall go the way of all flesh, -- die and face the judgment of God where there will be consequences. (reap destruction – Gal. 6:8)

The scriptures emphasize the consequences of sin in other verses. Ezekiel said, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ez. 18:4) Paul said, “The wages of sin is death.” (Rom. 6:23)  Over and over, again and again, the Bible under all circumstances, emphasizes that we reap what we sow and that sin is always followed by consequences.

There is rebellion in the hearts and in the behavior of many people in our society today. In view of the fact that sin will always have consequences, what can we predict for the future? According to the basic law of sowing and reaping, the answer can best be given in the words of the prophet Hosea, “They sow the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind.” (Hos. 8:7) There is one time of sowing (while alive), and there will be two times of reaping. We reap in this life and also reap beyond this life in the hereafter. Sin brings forth its consequences both here and hereafter.

People may do things without realizing the consequences of their actions, but one day there is going to be an accounting! (Rev. 21:8)

DIVERTING ATTENTION by Earl Sutton

The parable of the Good Samaritan was brought on by the question asked by a lawyer (doctor of the Law of Moses) in Luke 10:25-37.  Upon hearing Jesus speak, he asked, “Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He was not seeking information but trying to embarrass Jesus. The question was a highly controversial one, about which the Jews did not agree. He felt that any answer that Jesus gave would be incriminating and bring upon him criticism and scorn.

With great skill, Jesus replied by asking a question, “What is written in the Law? How readest thou?” In reply the lawyer answered, “Thou shalt love the Lord they God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself.” This lawyer knew the answer to Jesus’ question and gave the correct answer. However, he had not been practicing these precepts. Jesus, therefore, told him his answer was right but suggested that he begin obeying these commandments if he would have eternal life.

Jesus’ statement strongly implies the lawyer loved neither God nor his neighbor, and it was embarrassing because of his hypocrisy. Anxious to justify himself, he sought to DIVERT  ATTENTION from what Jesus had said by asking another question, “And who is my neighbor?” The Jews believed in loving neighbors (not Gentiles), but they could not agree on who their neighbors were. They had so perverted this command that they believed only selected Jews were to be counted as neighbors. In order to convince this lawyer of his error and to show him who his neighbor really was, Jesus uttered the parable of the Good Samaritan.

In like manner this week the mainstream media, who are controlled by the global elite and are pushing a one world government, were avoiding talking about the Squad, Epstein, Democrat Debate disaster, Kamala Harris’s records deleted as District Attorney in CA, ruling on Julian Assange, legally published HRC’s emails to begin raising a highly controversial question of gun control and white supremacy. (When there is an unlawful scandal in the news about the left, there is always a mass shooting. Is there a correlation with the CIA’s Mk-Ultra mind control program?)

The MSM was anxious to divert attention away from these issues to mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso in order to push gun confiscation in America. Our Constitution, recognizing our God given rights to self-defense and liberty, says that the “right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed upon.” Our Constitution does allow deprivation of liberty with due process. If the government, using Red Flag Laws, can take your guns based on someone’s word (prediction) today, what will stop them from taking away our religious freedom tomorrow based on someone’s word.

There is a strong suspicion that the radical left is behind the diverting of our attention in America with the support of our corrupt CIA. How? The CIA is using a mind-control program called “Mk-Ultra” on individuals to do heinous deeds to divert our attention. Allen Dulles, first Director of the CIA in a speech to the joint Congressional Committee in 1953, revealed this information. President Kennedy tried to shut down this evil agency and was killed in the process.

My point, as Jesus showed how insincere the lawyer was, the left’s hypocrisy is crystal clear; they want strict background checks on American citizens gun owners but zero checks on illegal immigrants. Each day 3,000 innocent babies are murdered in abortions, and they act like a mass shooting bothers them  -- pure hypocrisy!
