In 1996 a grain ship, “Bright Field,” was heading down the Mississippi River near New Orleans, when it lost control, veered toward the shore and crashed into a riverside shopping mall. The impact demolished parts of the wharf and injured 116 people. According to the Coast Guard investigation, the ship’s owner and crew had failed to repair long-standing engine problems. This is a clear example of not doing what you should do and receiving the consequences of bad decisions.

The Devil deceived Eve into thinking that there would be no consequences for eating the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:1-7). God said, “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ye shall not eat of it lest ye die” (v.3) The Devil said, “Ye shall not surely die.” (v.4) Eve dilly-dallied with the temptation and contemplated the possibilities that the Devil had suggested and threw away all restrain and ate the fruit!  Why?  The Devil deceived her into thinking that there would be no consequences for sin.

The Devil continues to lie to us today and tells our society that a little sin won’t hurt, a little indulgence is not a problem, a little transgression will never hurt anybody! The Devil tells us that we are only human and go ahead and enjoy sin. The Bible says, “The way of the transgressor is hard.” ( Prov. 13:15)

Our society believes that it can live in disobedience to God’s will by practicing homosexuality and never suffer the consequences. The scriptures teach that there will be consequences for our actions. “Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth unto his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth unto the spirit shall of the spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal. 6:7-8) This basic principle applies to the physical world and spiritual realm as well. The word, “mocked” is a Greek word (mukterizete:) which means to turn one’s nose up at God. The point is that if a person sows to the flesh (homosexuality and sinful living) and turns up his nose at God, he shall go the way of all flesh, -- die and face the judgment of God where there will be consequences. (reap destruction – Gal. 6:8)

The scriptures emphasize the consequences of sin in other verses. Ezekiel said, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ez. 18:4) Paul said, “The wages of sin is death.” (Rom. 6:23)  Over and over, again and again, the Bible under all circumstances, emphasizes that we reap what we sow and that sin is always followed by consequences.

There is rebellion in the hearts and in the behavior of many people in our society today. In view of the fact that sin will always have consequences, what can we predict for the future? According to the basic law of sowing and reaping, the answer can best be given in the words of the prophet Hosea, “They sow the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind.” (Hos. 8:7) There is one time of sowing (while alive), and there will be two times of reaping. We reap in this life and also reap beyond this life in the hereafter. Sin brings forth its consequences both here and hereafter.

People may do things without realizing the consequences of their actions, but one day there is going to be an accounting! (Rev. 21:8)

Pure Christianity is the enemy of the devil and the evil that is in the world.

This election has clearly been between the forces of good (Christianity) and the forces of evil (globalists), and the main issue has been the battle for moral purity! I sincerely believe that President Trump is God’s choice to carry out sweeping reforms concerning abortion, sanctity of marriage, law and order, overreach of government, and spread of Islam in America. I have been invited to serve on a Presidential Advisory Board in order to give input to our President concerning these issues. I plan to fight for family, faith and religious freedom and encourage the protection of Christian values.

I appreciate the good job that President Trump is doing to put our country back on track by growing the economy, strengthening our society, and restoring moral values. Those Americans who try to maintain traditional moral beliefs are now being treated with increasing hostility from the anti-Christion, progressive wing of our country. If people of faith don’t stand up and defend themselves against relentless attacks, both in the courts and in society, it won’t be long before everyone with such beliefs will be outlawed.

We clearly see a hostile wind that is blowing against those with traditional moral beliefs by main-stream media, those on the left, globalists, and many liberal judges throughout our land. In fact, under the Obama administration, government agencies around the U.S. tried to push Christian expression out the door. This includes children being prohibited from saying or writing Merry Christmas to soldiers in the military, senior citizens (at Senior Centers) being banned from their traditional prayer at mealtime, and VA banning the mention of God at military funerals. The levels of attack like these and many more are proliferating.

Under Obama’s tidal wave of corruption for the past eight years, God’s people began to offer fervent prayers that the Lord would intervene and turn our nation in a new direction. The future of our Christian culture is now truly in the hands of a new president who has plans to restore Christian values.

The playing field has now been leveled, but as Christians, we must continue to speak out and support our new president in his efforts to restore moral and religious principles. Obviously, good leaders cannot rule unless Christians help to get them elected and then support their plans.

I realize that without Christian values in government, we subject ourselves to tyranny. “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.” (Prov. 29:2) Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has issued a stark warning about threats now facing our religious liberty. He has predicted that opposition to the same-sex marriage case would be used to “vilify those who disagree and treat them as bigots.”

The left wing and globalists are attempting to whitewash God from American history. The globalists left is using our biased main-stream media to manufacture a consensus to transition our country from American values to their values and agendas. This includes trying to change our national identity and acts of persecution pointed at our deep-rooted spiritual issues. This religious hostility is the red light on the dashboard that tells us we have a major problem and that violence and loss of religious freedom will come next if not fixed.

The bottom line is that this is a primal conflict between a totalitarian system and a democratic system, and its outcome will determine whether we will be a free nation or one of slaves. It is our prayer that God will awaken church leaders and Christians in America before it is too late (II Chron. 19:2).
