In 1996 a grain ship, “Bright Field,” was heading down the Mississippi River near New Orleans, when it lost control, veered toward the shore and crashed into a riverside shopping mall. The impact demolished parts of the wharf and injured 116 people. According to the Coast Guard investigation, the ship’s owner and crew had failed to repair long-standing engine problems. This is a clear example of not doing what you should do and receiving the consequences of bad decisions.

The Devil deceived Eve into thinking that there would be no consequences for eating the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:1-7). God said, “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ye shall not eat of it lest ye die” (v.3) The Devil said, “Ye shall not surely die.” (v.4) Eve dilly-dallied with the temptation and contemplated the possibilities that the Devil had suggested and threw away all restrain and ate the fruit!  Why?  The Devil deceived her into thinking that there would be no consequences for sin.

The Devil continues to lie to us today and tells our society that a little sin won’t hurt, a little indulgence is not a problem, a little transgression will never hurt anybody! The Devil tells us that we are only human and go ahead and enjoy sin. The Bible says, “The way of the transgressor is hard.” ( Prov. 13:15)

Our society believes that it can live in disobedience to God’s will by practicing homosexuality and never suffer the consequences. The scriptures teach that there will be consequences for our actions. “Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth unto his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth unto the spirit shall of the spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal. 6:7-8) This basic principle applies to the physical world and spiritual realm as well. The word, “mocked” is a Greek word (mukterizete:) which means to turn one’s nose up at God. The point is that if a person sows to the flesh (homosexuality and sinful living) and turns up his nose at God, he shall go the way of all flesh, -- die and face the judgment of God where there will be consequences. (reap destruction – Gal. 6:8)

The scriptures emphasize the consequences of sin in other verses. Ezekiel said, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ez. 18:4) Paul said, “The wages of sin is death.” (Rom. 6:23)  Over and over, again and again, the Bible under all circumstances, emphasizes that we reap what we sow and that sin is always followed by consequences.

There is rebellion in the hearts and in the behavior of many people in our society today. In view of the fact that sin will always have consequences, what can we predict for the future? According to the basic law of sowing and reaping, the answer can best be given in the words of the prophet Hosea, “They sow the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind.” (Hos. 8:7) There is one time of sowing (while alive), and there will be two times of reaping. We reap in this life and also reap beyond this life in the hereafter. Sin brings forth its consequences both here and hereafter.

People may do things without realizing the consequences of their actions, but one day there is going to be an accounting! (Rev. 21:8)

It is very important that Christians see the big picture in our society today. The move that has swept the NFL of players against American values by kneeling during the national anthem to protest race relations in the U.S. has nothing to do with their so-called plight. This protest has everything to do with the globalists movement in America.

This movement and support from the left is dedicated to destroying the government, home and the church. This anti-American movement to create a one world government cannot exist side-by-side with our Constitution or with Judeo-Christian values and patriotism.

The globalists are pushing a race war in America to divide and conquer. Colin Kaepernick started refusing to stand for the playing of our national anthem in his protest of perceived wrongdoing against blacks, but this is clearly a false narrative. The truth is only 0.77% of blacks are killed by whites, 9.83% of whites are killed by blacks, 10.22% of whites are killed by whites and 53.94% of blacks are killed by blacks in America. The numbers to support wrongdoing of blacks by the police just doesn’t add up! This effort is only to push the Socialist/Communist agenda for the globalists.

The globalists movement, with support from the left in America, is trying to destroy our loyalty to our flag and the Constitution in order to establish a nation without borders, ruled by the corrupt U.N. and their Socialist doctrine. The globalist movement has put Obama out front with a tidal wave of corruption by doing away with the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), expanding legal protection to same-sex couples, promoting homosexuality and transgenderism to destroy the home and Christian values in America. We are at a boiling point, which could lead to a civil war. Mainstream media, controlled by globalists, are encouraging bad behavior by their message that it is okay to hurt people based on their political and religious beliefs. Civil war, internal strife, and divisiveness will certainly cause a nation to fall – which the globalist are pursuing.

Jesus said, “And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand” (Mark 3:25). The trend that has swept the NFL to disrespect our nation is certainly the wrong venue for protesting the false claim of wrongdoing against blacks, because the numbers just don’t add up.

This is a clear example of hypocrisy, because the NFL’s own rules pertaining to the national anthem (pages 62-63) states, “All players must stand, or the violation on the first offense is discipline, fines or suspensions.” When Tim Tebow was ridiculed and blacklisted by the NFL for taking a knee in silent prayer and now allowing their teams to blatantly disrespect our country, this is pure hypocrisy in support of the globalist movement.

The broken-hearted, weeping prophet summed up our dilemma in America, concerning the globalist movement, “Let us lie down in shame, and let our confusion cover us, for we have sinned against Jehovah our God” (Jer. 3:25). Our shameful lives will conquer us unless the wickedness and corruption in government is not addressed. We are in a great battle to save our Constitution, home and the church from the forces of evil (globalists) who are fighting to establish a one world government and do away with moral purity, honesty and freedoms. Elders, preachers and Christians must continue to speak out against the evil globalists and ask God’s help to restore Christianity in this great nation and all around the world (Prov. 14:34).
