In 1996 a grain ship, “Bright Field,” was heading down the Mississippi River near New Orleans, when it lost control, veered toward the shore and crashed into a riverside shopping mall. The impact demolished parts of the wharf and injured 116 people. According to the Coast Guard investigation, the ship’s owner and crew had failed to repair long-standing engine problems. This is a clear example of not doing what you should do and receiving the consequences of bad decisions.

The Devil deceived Eve into thinking that there would be no consequences for eating the forbidden fruit (Gen. 3:1-7). God said, “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, ye shall not eat of it lest ye die” (v.3) The Devil said, “Ye shall not surely die.” (v.4) Eve dilly-dallied with the temptation and contemplated the possibilities that the Devil had suggested and threw away all restrain and ate the fruit!  Why?  The Devil deceived her into thinking that there would be no consequences for sin.

The Devil continues to lie to us today and tells our society that a little sin won’t hurt, a little indulgence is not a problem, a little transgression will never hurt anybody! The Devil tells us that we are only human and go ahead and enjoy sin. The Bible says, “The way of the transgressor is hard.” ( Prov. 13:15)

Our society believes that it can live in disobedience to God’s will by practicing homosexuality and never suffer the consequences. The scriptures teach that there will be consequences for our actions. “Be not deceived: God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth unto his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth unto the spirit shall of the spirit reap eternal life.” (Gal. 6:7-8) This basic principle applies to the physical world and spiritual realm as well. The word, “mocked” is a Greek word (mukterizete:) which means to turn one’s nose up at God. The point is that if a person sows to the flesh (homosexuality and sinful living) and turns up his nose at God, he shall go the way of all flesh, -- die and face the judgment of God where there will be consequences. (reap destruction – Gal. 6:8)

The scriptures emphasize the consequences of sin in other verses. Ezekiel said, “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” (Ez. 18:4) Paul said, “The wages of sin is death.” (Rom. 6:23)  Over and over, again and again, the Bible under all circumstances, emphasizes that we reap what we sow and that sin is always followed by consequences.

There is rebellion in the hearts and in the behavior of many people in our society today. In view of the fact that sin will always have consequences, what can we predict for the future? According to the basic law of sowing and reaping, the answer can best be given in the words of the prophet Hosea, “They sow the wind and they shall reap the whirlwind.” (Hos. 8:7) There is one time of sowing (while alive), and there will be two times of reaping. We reap in this life and also reap beyond this life in the hereafter. Sin brings forth its consequences both here and hereafter.

People may do things without realizing the consequences of their actions, but one day there is going to be an accounting! (Rev. 21:8)

Many years ago, delegates from all of the thirteen colonies met in Philadelphia in the Continental Congress for the purpose of working out some kind of plan to establish a strong Federal union. The problems were immense, and the success of the enterprise was often in doubt.

At other times, during these stormy sessions when the conflicting interests of the various colonies threatened to destroy the Congress, Benjamin Franklin said, “I have lived a long time, and the longer I live the more convincing proof I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men.” At times, Mr. Franklin would rise and call for a season of prayer. It is heartening to know that our nation began in an atmosphere of faith in God and with constant petitions for God’s help.

It is good to know, in view of the deep state escalation of a coup against our president, that God still supervises and controls the events of our nation and our world. The deep state is at war with America. The CIA is running an attempted coup, and the mainstream media are its puppets. We are now witnessing the final chapter, because the left, CIA and media hacks are throwing everything at the president in a last-ditch effort to remove him from office before the 2020 election.

The Democrats know they cannot win because their ideas are completely ridiculous, and they have no ideas other than Socialism and handing out free stuff to everyone. The fake MSM has abandoned any last shred of credibility and is now faking every bombshell about our president. This face-off will end with just one party left standing, and God will decide which one that will be!

The left (deep state) cannot survive if they don’t take decisive action to take Trump out! The left has demonstrated to all Americans that they don’t care about any real issues Americans are facing such as health care costs, collapse of cities, corruption in pharmaceutical industrial complex, persecution of Christians, and most important of all, morality!

The left is willing to watch America burn and collapse, as long as they think they might be able to get Trump in the process. The left has become terrorists, criminals, and lunatics; and they have reached the point of insanity where they, quite literally, want to see this country burned to the ground rather than witness Trump win a second term.

I believe, with God’s help, that the president should declare temporary martial law, including curfews, set up Military Tribunals for the deep state traitors with severe punishment all the way up to executions by hanging, for those found guilty of this most serious crime against this country. We can expect mass violence and chaos from the left which follows the “Rules for Radicals,” a blueprint for Communist revolts and violent overthrow attempts of governments.

There is also proof in the Bible that God has the power necessary for Him to control our nation and destroy those who 100% defy Him (the left and deep state). Throughout the history of the Old Testament, it is apparent that when man is willing to heed God’s directions, he is blessed; but when man turns away from God in rebellion, he curses himself.

We clearly see evidence of God’s control in the affairs of men in the lives of Joseph, Esther, Daniel and the three Hebrew captives. In his direction of the affairs of men, God utilizes the talents, positions of powers of men such as King Cyrus, King of Assyria, and the President of USA in order to promote the cause of righteousness. “The powers that be are ordained of God” (Rom. 13:1). It is our prayer that the Lord’s will be done!
