Minimum Wage laws were created in the United States as a standard of fair labor practices by FDR in the late 30's.
This law was created to force more equality between workers and to drive the labor market to pay what was deemed "fair and suitable" standards of living.
Many of us will not "settle" for a minimum wage pay in our jobs, and most employers offer other wages and/or positions that pay well above minimum wage.
Is this an approach that Christianity has taken? We expect equality from God just because we think it is "fair?"
Let's look at a parable in Matthew that Jesus told about wages and go from there with our lesson.
