This is an event designed for young people that are living in a world full of challenges. Suggested ages, due to the sensitivity of the topics is 13 - 20. Discretion is advised for younger audiences.
TBH! will be a forum of speakers coming together to identify, discuss, and help our young people, and their parents, to live in a life full of challenges.
The theme - as the acronym says is "To Be Honest!"
The itinerary will be as follows:
8:00 - 8:50 a.m. - Registration, Meet & Greet, donuts, snacks, etc.
8:30 - 8:50 - Singing in the auditorium for all that want to join led by Brandon Eaves
9:00 - Welcome, song, prayer
9:05 - 9:45 - "Texting/Sexting/Snapping/Yapping and all of those other things smartphones can do." - Drew Milligan
10:00 - 10:40 - "Social Media: To tweet or not to tweet - wait...did you like my status?" - Joey Ferrell
11:00 - 11:40 - "Bullies and Peer Pressure: Surviving life at school and with friends." - Trent Key
12:00 - 12:50 - Lunch will be provided
1:00 - 1:50 - "Living morally in an immoral world: Where do we go from here?" - Jack Honeycutt
2:00 - closing remarks and dismissal
Each session will have a few songs, a prayer and about 10 minutes of question & answer time at the end. Songs will be sung during breaks if you choose to participate.
There will be both men and women available to answer questions one on one or to discuss any challenges privately if need be.
